The Faculty of Information Science and Computer Engineering (FISCE) from 11 to 13 November 2011- second Startup Weekend in Macedonia, organized by the YES Foundation.
The best teams will be rewarded with 4iPad 16GB donated by the Government of Republic of Macedonia through the project Осмели се!, 10 hours consulting and training by ICT Consulting, 2 weeks free use of the virtual space of MB office and Kaspersky licenses for each team member.
This event is conceptualized to enable access to resources and tools needed to build successful companies and link them with the community experts at no cost. Microsoft BizSpark program is a program help future generation of software companies to get help and support at the beginning of their businesses.
The event is aimed for youth high tech willing to start their own business or already having IT businesses.
An event where the students from creative departments, will have the opportunity to present their creative work on the following topic: Enter in the world of business! Be an entrepreneur!
There will be two categories, graphical design and 3D animation. Each participant will have the opportunity to present his work in front of the jury, that will announce the winner in each category, for which they will receive an award.
Business Speed dating is informal event where in a relaxed atmosphere important and successful business people meet with young people who are willing to learn something from their role models. The time is limited to 10 minutes maximum per businessman/businesswoman and the whole duration of the event is one and a half hour. Then, following the traditional speed dating format, participants at the event undergo a series of brief face-to-face encounters that let everyone meet and get to know each other.
